From a wedding for 2,000 guests to an intimate valaikappu at home, we bring the same fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and dependable service that earned us our first customer in 1996 — and every customer since.
Our Story
Sathyabama Catering was founded in Madurai in 1996 with a simple promise: serve food the way it’s made at home — fresh, unhurried, and full of flavour, with not a shortcut in sight. What began as a small family-run kitchen near Ganesh Theatre has grown into one of Madurai’s most recommended vegetarian catering services, but the kitchen philosophy hasn’t changed. We still cook without Ajinomoto or artificial flavour enhancers, we still grind our own masalas fresh for every event, and we still believe a good caterer is judged one satisfied guest at a time.
Today, many of the families we serve are second- or even third-generation customers — the same household that booked us for a grandmother’s 60th birthday now calls us for a grandchild’s wedding. That kind of trust isn’t built with advertising. It’s built one banana leaf at a time.
